This pattern pays homage to an incredible Colorado trout, the Taylor River Brown. Brown trout were stocked there in the 1890’s and quickly thrived and eventually became their own amazing strain.
Some distinguishing features:
Other distinguishing features are brilliant white stripes on their fins typically seen on Brook Trout and NO spots on the tail (most browns have some streak of spots at the top of the tail and occasionally on the very bottom).
We caught a LOT of these and they never disappointed.
"We strive to create the very finest fishing products through countless hours of research and development and only release what we know works to exceptional standards."
•All Master Angler series lures are hand-painted in the USA to the perfect point of exaggerated realism. No two are perfectly identical but all perform to the highest standard.
• Rigged with top quality double-strong treble hooks and heavy duty USA made stainless rings and finished with super durable high gloss clear-coats. Countless hours have gone into finding the perfect hook and ring combinations to balance the performance of these lures.
•There’s more work than meets the eye. For example; the Rainbow pattern uses 8 different paints and has over 100 handed painted dots.
•This Master Angler series of lures are all individually hand signed.
• Can be custom ordered with single hooks, or single barbless hooks upon request.
“Most everyone else was using the LŌZ Lures jerk baits and were catching [fish] hand over fist”.
"it's a lure, it's a piece of art, it's LOZ!"
"Over the weekend, they caught over a 100 fish and a MDC Master Angler class smallmouth using LOZ lures"
